It has such an orange color I want to say turmeric root but it doesn't really look like the tubers. And it doesn't really look like cilantro root either, which was my first thought. So I'm clueless, I guess.
It does look like a root of some sort. I am going to guess celeraic root even though I don't really have a clue what that looks like! Or wait..hmmm..it it some kind of funky fungus?
